…where one thing always leads me to another!
Hmm, “KEN” in “Touchdown”, why red?
In the beginning , Cornell University, one of the “Ivy League” (very Ken), and College Football (Ken may have been conceived as a teen but I always felt he was a college man, not a high school boy)

Which interestingly lead me to Campbell’s Soup.
And a sidestep to Warhol, because I am an “Andy” fan (I always think of this image when I see Campbell’s) who turned the humble Campbell’s Soup can into art.

Which answered me as to “KEN” in “Touchdown” and why Red uniforms?

Oh, nd multiples, can’t forget multiples, loved by Warhol and by me, which at first glance are all the same but look closely and you will find that each has some distinct characteristic all it’s own (there are 11 seperate Kens, it’s not AI)

And even the packing cases became important, whether in Warhol’s hands; he reproduced them as one-of-a-kind art, or from Mattel; who created them as mass produced cardboard shipping boxes, (which would have generally been thrown in the trash, so few remain making them fairly rare and very collectible.
I had to have this one it to complete my “set” I even started to collect “Touchdown” Mint in Package so I could fill the box but…).
